How to Install WebTrader Mac
WebTrader for Mac is available to download via client portal.
- Login at: marketsinvest.com
- Select Download WebTrader (from main menu) then WebTrader Mac.
- When download completed, drag file into Applications folder
- Follow any installation prompts
How to install WebTrader on Catalina
- Open Terminal (search at top right in Spotlight to launch Terminal)
- Type the command: xattr -d com.apple.quarantine and add a space
- Drag the file into Terminal after the space.
- Press enter.
- Double click the app to launch it.
Additionally, follow these instructions to disable SIP https://www.imore.com/how-turn-system-integrity-protection-macos. Catalina is a 64-bit application only and WebTrader is still 32-bit. SIP is preventing the application to virtualize the 32-bit environment. So it needs to be shut down. This should only be required with newer Mac models.
